\nLet’s face it Google is pretty\u00a0omniscient. They know where you live, what you like, when you’re awake or asleep, and when you’ve been bad or good – online. They’re practically the modern day Santa. Which is why their latest IoT (Internet of Things<\/a>) patent is rather questionable. Especially considering how much of an Internet meme creepy animatronics<\/a> have become, thanks to the\u00a0truly terrifying\u00a0indie game “Five Nights At Freddy’s”<\/a>.
\nWhat’s even more questionable is why Google\u00a0not only decided to patent animatronic IoT toys for kids, but both a bear and a bunny – animals that\u00a0represent\u00a0the\u00a0two main characters from the FNAF horror\u00a0game:\u00a0Freddy<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Bonny<\/a>. Creepier still is Google’s own description of how these new “toys” will “turn their heads towards users and listen to what they were saying, before sending commands to remote computer servers”.<\/em>
\nYour best hope is to employ a decent night shift security guard, stock-up on AA batteries for your flashlight, and don’t forget about\u00a0Foxy.<\/p>\n

\n2 \u2013\u00a0IS TOUCH ID COMING TO ANDROID?<\/strong>
\nWe recently reported in a digital trend article that\u00a0fingerprint identification was becoming a lot more mainstream<\/a>. And\u00a0now it turns out that Google will finally be adding it to their operating system. Samsung might have had it on their flagship devices for\u00a0a while, but it has not been officially supported by the search giant as yet.\u00a0Which also means big implications for Google Wallet<\/a> and Mobile Payments.
\nExpect to see more unveiled across the upcoming\u00a0Android M platform (set to replace Lollipop) at the\u00a0Google I\/O event\u00a0in California.

But now you can finally use Apple Pay with your registered card as well, on your wrist. It even works for older iPhones, because you can use the NFC chip built into Apple Watch rather than needing it in your phone. \nApple Pay is coming to Europe as soon as this\u00a0summer, according to a Belgian Bank: KBC. Despite being out for over 7 months, the service is predicted to expand after this year\u2019s WWDC. It’s a big step, but a long overdue one as Apple Pay has been exclusive in the U.S. for some time. Which hasn’t stopped over 300 banks signing up,<\/a> as more large retailers\u00a0like\u00a0<\/span>Express<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>offer the service.<\/p>\n

\n5 \u2013 FOR FONT’S SAKE:\u00a0APPLE CHANGING ENTIRE iOS AGAIN\u00a0<\/strong>
\nWhen it comes to touch screens, the Apple Watch is small.\u00a0So small in fact Apple\u00a0not only\u00a0designed a\u00a0new scroll wheel<\/a>\u00a0to prevent\u00a0your\u00a0finger from blocking the screen, but they also implemented\u00a0a new typeface.\u00a0San Francisco replaced\u00a0Helvetica Neue<\/a>\u00a0due to its enhanced legibility. And apparently, it’s soon\u00a0coming to iOS 9 and OS X 10.11. We’ll see more at the\u00a0June WWDC<\/a>.<\/p>\n
