This week, I&#8217;ll cover adding assets within CherryPie.<\/p>\n<h3>How to Add Assets in CherryPie<\/h3>\n<h4>Pre-step. Add Client<\/h4>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 5\">\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\nBefore you do anything, make sure you create a new client. This is because all of the contacts, assets, campaigns, and offers are stored per client and cannot be copied over. Make sure you check to see that you are working on the <strong>right client<\/strong> every time you use CherryPie.<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 5\">\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\nGo to Clients \u2014&gt; New Client<br \/>\nTo switch between clients, simply go to the top right of the screen and select your client from the dropdown list.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/dxjl3qy52c1o9.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/27052529\/Screen-Shot-2016-01-26-at-11.25.11-PM.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-8417\" src=\"https:\/\/dxjl3qy52c1o9.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/27052529\/Screen-Shot-2016-01-26-at-11.25.11-PM.png\" alt=\"Add Client-CherryPie\" width=\"766\" height=\"463\" title=\"\"><\/a>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h4>1. Add Images<\/h4>\n<p>This is where you\u2019ll store all your image assets, which can be used in the pass, email template, and landing page. Don\u2019t worry about cropping it to be the right size &#8211; we have cropping tools in the \u2018design\u2019 section of creating your pass and adding it to the landing page.<br \/>\nGo to Assets \u2014&gt; Images \u2014&gt; Add an Image<br \/>\nEnter a name for that image and add a description or tag (for search purposes), then select your image or drag and drop it in the box.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/dxjl3qy52c1o9.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/27040431\/Screen-Shot-2016-01-26-at-10.03.57-PM.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dxjl3qy52c1o9.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/27040431\/Screen-Shot-2016-01-26-at-10.03.57-PM.png\" alt=\"Add Image-CherryPie\" width=\"768\" height=\"814\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>2. Add Locations<\/h4>\n<div title=\"Page 7\">\nAdd and store locations for location-based lock screen alerts with passes. This will trigger a lock screen message whenever that device is within the range of the GPS coordinates.<br \/>\nGo to Assets \u2014&gt; Locations \u2014&gt; Add a Location<br \/>\nEnter a name for that location and type in the address to search for it on the map. Click and hold to position the map marker in the exact location you want it and the latitude and longitude will automatically be generated.<br \/>\nTo enable GPS lock screen message to appear only above a certain height (i.e. on the 60th floor of a building), add in the altitude in meters.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/dxjl3qy52c1o9.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/27040903\/Screen-Shot-2016-01-26-at-10.08.33-PM.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dxjl3qy52c1o9.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/27040903\/Screen-Shot-2016-01-26-at-10.08.33-PM.png\" alt=\"Add Location-CherryPie\" width=\"772\" height=\"808\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>3. Add Beacons<\/h4>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 8\">\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\nAdd and store beacons for proximity-based lock screen alerts with passes. This will trigger a lock screen message whenever that device is within range of a beacon.<br \/>\nGo to Assets \u2014&gt; Beacons \u2014&gt; Add a Beacon<br \/>\nOption 1:<br \/>\nEnter in a name (i.e. GemTot USB) and a UUID is automatically generated for you. This is the default UUID for GemTot Beacons.<br \/>\nOption 2:<br \/>\nIf you already have a UUID, enter your UUID in the \u2018Name\u2019 field. If your UUID is valid, it will be the same in the UUID field. Add Assets<\/h4>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 9\">\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\nCreate and store plain-text or HTML email templates so that you can distribute passes and launch campaigns to your contact list straight away.
