The special edition items were created by Ive and Apple to help raise money for the Design Museum of London.
The lot consists of a 12.9 inch iPad Pro that is yellow-gold and is labeled 1 of 1. The other items in the lot are a blue leather iPad Smart Cover, and an orange Apple Pencil holder, which is an item that Apple doesn’t currently offer in any color. The estimated price? Between $14,000 and 21,000 for the lot. Which would make it the most expensive iPad ever sold. So if you find yourself wanting this iPad and the accessories, you are going to need to drop some serious dough.

<img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" class="wp-image-9289 size-full" src="https://dxjl3qy52c1o9.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/18123151/pdpro98.jpg" alt="This is the set that will be going up for auction soon. GoPro VR launches today on the web and in the app stores. The GoPro VR apps will work similar to how the existing on-demand channel works currently. As of now, it will have footage of sponsored athletes and artists but could soon have footage from users as well. GoPro entering the VR sphere isn’t a surprise considering how popular the VR craze is at the moment. The only question is whether or not GoPro’s VR platform will last. Check out the video below to experience GoPro VR.

Source: Engadget

Tech Trends 3) Receive an absurd amount of data from Verizon just for trying out Android Pay

If you are on Verizon, have an Android phone, and you haven’t used Android Pay yet, you will now. Between now and the middle of June, try Android Pay and you’ll receive 1GB of free data. If you try it three times, you will receive another 1GB in data. Totaling 2GB of data for two billing cycles, all for paying with your phone. I don’t believe there is an easier way to get 2GB of free data, so I highly suggest you snag this deal while it’s still available and give Android Pay a try.

<img decoding="async" class="wp-image-9292 size-full" src="https://dxjl3qy52c1o9.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/18193928/Screen-Shot-2015-06-07-at-16.41.29.png" alt="Simply tap your phone and get free data. According to TechRadar, Sidewalk Labs, one of Alphabet’s newer subsidiaries, is rumoured to be planning “a testbed for new technologies” in the words of The Information. Parts of Denver and Detroit are apparently being looked at as potential locations. It sounds like Alphabet would be able to use the cities as a huge real-life sandbox to put all of its upcoming innovations through their paces. While right now this is only a rumor, it is something that would make a lot of sense for Alphabet and Sidewalk labs to do. So definitely keep an eye for any further information on what could be the future of our cities.

<img decoding="async" class="wp-image-9290 size-full" src="https://dxjl3qy52c1o9.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/18123227/Sidewalklabs.png" alt="Sidewalk Labs could be responsible for our cities in the future.
