Their mission is to build the world\u2019s largest <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scmp.com\/tech\/start-ups\/article\/1906296\/networking-lan-kwai-fong-hong-kongs-nest-setting-metta-membership\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">network of entrepreneurs<\/a> and serve as home for these entrepreneurs and innovators across the world.<br \/>\nSince Mett\u0101 is a venue exclusively for members, they wanted to be innovative with how they manage their membership program. That\u2019s when PassKit stepped in and helped enable Mett\u0101\u2019s digital membership program &#038; member engagement experiences.<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s 2016. Plastic cards are so 1996.<\/p>\n<h3>The Experience<\/h3>\n<p>Traditionally, signing up for a membership program is a long and arduous process. Paperwork needs to be filled in, staff take the paperwork and manually enter the information into their database, the member details get processed, membership cards are ordered to be printed, the cards are then mailed to the member, and the member finally receives their plastic membership card.<br \/>\nHere\u2019s what we did to make the signup process for Mett\u0101 members and staff smoother and much more efficient.<br \/>\n1. Applicants visit a landing page where they fill in their details to apply to become a Mett\u0101 member<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dxjl3qy52c1o9.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/31083609\/Screen-Shot-2016-05-31-at-4.37.24-PM.png\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2016-05-31 at 4.37.24 PM\" width=\"519\" height=\"833\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9516\" title=\"\"><br \/>\n2. The applicant receives an email with a link to their digital membership card. The digital membership card can instantly be saved in Apple Wallet, third party wallet apps and browsers.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dxjl3qy52c1o9.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/31083700\/Screen-Shot-2016-05-31-at-4.38.13-PM.png\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2016-05-31 at 4.38.13 PM\" width=\"654\" height=\"426\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9517\" title=\"\"><br \/>\n3. Members simply show their membership card to access the venue.
