Tech Trends 1- SpaceX Falcon Heavy could launch this spring

SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy rocket has a launch date. While originally promised to launch in 2013, SpaceX has announced that the Falcon Heavy will launch sometime in the late April early May timeframe.
Built with 3 Falcon 9 rockets strapped together, the Falcon Heavy is the world’s most powerful operational rocket. The Saturn V being the only rocket that was ever been more powerful. While the launch in the spring is only a demonstration, the next launch in September would bring just over 35 satellites to space. The video below is the flight animation of the Falcon Heavy, check it out to see the future of space travel.

Tech Trends 2- The BB-8 is the droid you have been looking for

Star Wars merchandising has hit the level we have been waiting for. Sphereo’s BB-8 is a real live working droid that interacts with you. After pairing the BB-8 with your smartphone, you can watch the classic hologram message of Leia saying “help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you’re my only hope”. The droid is controlled by your smartphone. It can be driven around and will complete other tasks as well. If you leave your BB-8 alone, it will look around and get antsy when you’re not messing with it. All this is topped off with an awesome wireless charger. Check out the video below to see the BB-8 in action.

Tech Trends 3- Charge your Apple Watch on the go, without any chords

To many Apple Watch owners surprise, the Apple Watch’s battery actually lasts a long time. But for those more intense users who struggle to keep their Apple Watch charged. This keychain is a handy solution.
Built with an Apple Watch MagSafe charger inside the keychain. It would be able to charge your Apple Watch on the go. The one problem is, nobody knows any specs on the product. The company who made it, Adition, has yet to release any information on the future of the keychain. But whether its from Adition or another company, this is a concept that we should see in the future.

Android Pay could be released in the “next few weeks”

After the fake release date a couple weeks ago, Android Pay is set to launch in the “next few weeks”. A couple of weeks ago, many businesses, such as Subway and McDonalds, had begun putting out stickers that showed Android Pay as being live. I was at a Subway last week and was able to snag a picture myself.

Tech Trends- Subway has been promoting that Android Pay is available for the past two weeks. Android Pay is actually set to launch in the next few weeks.

So according to an FAQ page about Google Wallet, we should be seeing Android Pay in a couple weeks. For current Google Wallet users, the app will automatically switch over to Android Pay, and Google Wallet will become a stand alone app in the Google Play store. So we should be seeing the update to Android and Android Pay soon.
