This Standing Desk is taking a different approach in the newest craze among businesses
Standing desks and desks with treadmills seem to be the latest craze in the business world. Everyone from Australia’s prime minister to the White House are beginning to use standing desks. While not all studies agree that sitting for hours is bad for you, at least you’ll meet your stand goal on your Apple Watch. Before, standing desks were not cheap to implement, but one company wants to change that.
Refold is the newest company wanting to change the way we work. They have released a standing desk that is made out of cardboard and will cost you $250. This isn’t bad compared to the $1,000 you otherwise may be spending. The desk can hold up to 187 pounds and can fold into a carry case which will weigh only 14 pounds. This allows you to take your standing desk wherever your heart desires. While the main version will only cost $250, you may want to spend $300 for the waterproof version in case you spill your coffee. Check out the desk below.

Google may or may not be merging Chrome OS and Android OS
The Wall Street Journal had reported that by 2017, Chrome OS will be dead and Android will become the OS of all of Google’s hardware. The Android OS will supposedly be featured on Google’s smartphones, tablets, and notebook computers. The WSJ also said that Google will be renaming their Chromebook computers once the change in OS takes place.
However, Google’s newly appointed senior vice president for Android and Chrome, Hiroshi Lockheimer, took to Twitter to refute the Journal’s report, stating, “We are very committed to Chrome OS.” So for now it looks like the claims could be untrue but we will never know for sure. Regardless, I believe we could be seeing an Android OS in the very near future. What do you think?
