It’s been a wonderfully busy few weeks since the iOS6 release and we want to give you a snapshot of what we’ve been up to. We’re highlighting some of the new features in the Pass Designer, sharing links to articles and tutorials to help you get the most out of Passbook and giving you the opportunity to get your Pass and brand in front of hundreds and thousands of people.

Account Plans and Pricing
We are delighted to announce our PassKit Account Plans. We have designed our plans to provide an ingenious solution to individuals, developers and businesses of all sizes.
We offer the most competitive terms so there’s nothing stopping anyone issuing Passbook Passes to their customers today.
The account plans will be implemented on 22 October and will impact any new Passes you issue. We don’t want you to be surprised so make sure you visit the Pricing Page. If you choose your plan now, you get your first month free.
For those that have been with us since the start; those pioneering early adopters – “we love ya”. And we really do value your support and the traffic we got from Passes you created, so ALL the Passes you have issued to date are on the house.

Pass Certificates
As you know, Apple requires all publically distributed Passes are signed with your own Pass Certificate. PassKit makes it super easy to do; simply upload your own certificate in your account page. It take less than 3 minutes and many businesses and developers have already taken advantage of this feature. Learn more now

We’ve updated our documentation substantially and added 7 more methods to the API; the ones you told us were the most important and useful to you. Please check them out.

Distribution in multiple languages
You now have the ability to localise the Pass distribution page. If you want to add your language then please let us know. We’ll send you a very small text file in English, you provide us with the translation and we’ll implement it straight away. Tell us now
Promote your brand
Over 8,000 unique visitors (and rising fast) download a sample Pass from PassKit.com every day. You now have the chance to get your brand in front of them. All you need to is send us the Pass URL, signed with your own certificate, and we’ll take care of the rest. If you dont want to give people the chance to use it, just expire it; like this one.
