Let’s Get Physical With The Physical Web features different use cases and ideas on how the Physical Web can be implemented in our day to day lives.
In this episode, I took a movie poster from TomorrowLand, and made it Physical Web enabled. Through the URL, we were able to purchase the movie, watch the trailer, play interactive games, and find out more about the characters and cast. With the Physical Web, people no longer have to guess what the movie on a poster is about. They can simply open their Physical Web app, click the URL, and find out any information they might want to know. This can work the same for any poster. It could be a concert, an event, or even just an advertisement. Pairing posters with the Physical Web offers another way for people to interact with the environment around them. So check out the video below to see a Physical Web poster in action and to find out how I did it.
