This PassKit Pricing & Rate Card (the “Rate Card”) sets out the standard Pay-As-You-Go (“PAYG”) pricing for self-serve PassKit accounts created through the PassKit Sign Up Page. It forms part of the PassKit Subscription Service Agreement (the “Agreement”).
1. Pay-As-You-Go pricing model
Digital passes are billed according to the applicable multi-use or single-use pass pricing tiers below. PAYG pricing applies to a shared instance with no minimum volume commitment. Charges are calculated from the applicable Platform Fee and Pass Volume Fees.
PassKit may update this Rate Card prospectively in accordance with the Agreement. Any update will take effect at the start of the Customer’s next monthly billing cycle after the notice required by the Agreement.

3. Monthly Subscription Charges
Following any free trial, the monthly invoice comprises the Platform Fee and the applicable Multi-Use Pass Fee and Single-Use Pass Fee.
3.1 Minimum Monthly Charge
The minimum monthly subscription charge is US$39.50. It includes:
- one PassKit username;
- up to 250 multi-use passes; and
- up to 250 single-use passes.
3.2 Platform Fee
The Platform Fee covers the costs of hosting, maintaining, and securing the Customer’s PassKit account. It includes the pass allowances above and access to the Included Features in Section 6.
3.3 Team Member / username fee structure
The Platform Fee is determined by the number of Team Members with access to the PassKit account. A Team Member is any individual authorised by the Customer to access the account.
4. Pass Volume Fees
Pass Volumes are based on pass records created during the billing month, regardless of installation or redemption status. A pass record is created when a pass is issued through Data Collection Pages, SmartPass links, API integrations, CSV uploads, or other permitted methods.
4.1 Multi-Use Pass counting rules
Examples include loyalty cards and membership cards.
- Multi-use passes are counted and automatically invoiced at the end of each billing month.
- The count is the total multi-use pass records created minus the total multi-use pass records deleted.
- A multi-use pass record is created each time a membership card or loyalty card is issued.
- A multi-use pass record is automatically deleted 90 days after its expiry date.
- If there is no expiry date, or it must be deleted sooner than 90 days after expiry, the record must be deleted manually.
4.2 Single-Use Pass counting rules
Examples include coupons, tickets, and boarding passes.
- Single-use passes are counted and automatically invoiced at the end of each billing month.
- The count is the number of single-use pass records created during the billing month.
- A single-use pass record is created each time a coupon or event ticket is issued.
- All single-use passes have an expiry date and the pass record will be automatically deleted from the account.
- A single-use pass record is automatically deleted 90 days after its expiry date.
5. Invoice Calculation
The monthly invoice is the sum of:
- Platform Fee + Multi-Use Pass Fee + Single-Use Pass Fee.
5.1 Calculation example
For 7,000 multi-use passes:
(250 × $0.00) + (2,250 × $0.0450) + (2,500 × $0.0340) + (2,000 × $0.0230) = $232.25
For 2,850 single-use passes:
(250 × $0.00) + (2,250 × $0.0945) + (350 × $0.0714) = $237.62

6. Included Features
The following features are included at no additional cost under PAYG billing:
- unlimited projects and pass types;
- customisable data collection forms;
- automated pass delivery, including welcome emails;
- location-based notifications;
- real-time pass updates through the API or no-code automation tools;
- webhooks for event notifications;
- access to the PassKit PassReader App; and
- online technical support and training resources.
7. Exclusions
PAYG pricing does not include:
- implementation or onboarding services;
- custom engineering, development, or architectural work;
- systems integration, including PSS, CRM, and campaign tools; or
- bespoke professional services.
These services may be provided separately under a mutually agreed written statement of work and are not guaranteed under PAYG.
8. Public Pricing Information
PassKit may publish pricing information, calculators, examples, and explanatory materials elsewhere on its website, including at /pricing/ and /pricing/rates/. Those materials are provided for convenience. If there is any inconsistency, this Rate Card governs. A separately executed written commercial agreement with PassKit may override this Rate Card for the matters expressly covered by that agreement.
